What can I list on DropDesk?

DropDesk hosts list spaces, services, and activities of all kinds. Spaces include hot desks, private offices, meeting rooms, event venues, studios, recreational courts, and other bookable inventory. Services include consulting, salon appointments, tutoring, automotive repair, and other appointment-based businesses. Activities include classes, workshops, tours, lessons, and experiences. If it can be reserved by the hour, day, session, or appointment, you can list it.

How much can I earn as a DropDesk host?

Earnings depend on what you're listing, your location, and your availability. Top DropDesk hosts — across spaces, services, and activities — earn thousands of extra dollars in revenue each month, especially when offering flexible packages (hourly, per-session, daily, or subscription) that drive repeat bookings. Is there a fee to list on DropDesk?

Listing on DropDesk is completely free. DropDesk only charges a service fee on the bookings we send you — so you only pay when you earn. See our fee schedule for current rates.

How do I get paid as a DropDesk host?

DropDesk processes all payouts through Stripe, the industry standard for online payments. You can route payouts to one central bank account or assign a separate account to each listing. Payouts are processed automatically based on your Stripe payout schedule.

How do I get notified about bookings and messages?

Booking requests, confirmations, and customer messages are sent to the host of each listing through the DropDesk web and mobile apps. You can configure SMS and email alerts per listing — useful if different services or locations have different managers. If a manager is away, update the contact email and phone number for that listing to redirect notifications.

Can I control my availability, pricing, and booking rules?

Yes — hosts have full control over their calendar, pricing, and booking requirements. You can block out dates, set minimum and maximum booking durations, require advance notice, and adjust prices any time. You can also create multiple packages — one-time, hourly, per-session, daily, weekly, monthly, or subscription-based — for the same space, service, or activity.

Can I manage multiple listings on DropDesk?

Yes. DropDesk supports hosts with multiple listings — whether that's several locations, services, or activities — each with its own calendar, pricing, photos, and contact details. You can route payouts to a central account or assign different bank accounts per listing, and multi-user access lets team members manage specific listings.

Can I list on DropDesk if I'm also on other platforms?

Yes — DropDesk doesn't require exclusivity as a Host. You're free to list spaces, services, or activities on other booking platforms simultaneously, as long as you keep calendars synced to avoid double-bookings. Many hosts use DropDesk alongside other directories to maximize bookings.

How does DropDesk protect hosts?

DropDesk maintains a host protection process for documenting and resolving issues — including space damage, no-shows, and disputes — through your host dashboard. For space hosts, we recommend carrying general liability and property insurance and photographing the space before each booking. For service and activity hosts, a clear cancellation policy and confirmed booking details help prevent disputes. Our support team helps mediate between hosts and customers when issues come up.

How do refunds and cancellations work for hosts?

If a User cancels a Booking, the amount paid to you is determined by the cancellation policy that applies to that Booking. As a Host, you should specify the cancellation policy that applies to your specific Package. Users will be more likely to book your Package if there is a more flexible cancellation and refund policy. If no policy is stated, a User may always cancel and get a full refund 24 hours prior to the Booking start time. You may also issue refunds or agree to change a Booking in your discretion however bear in mind Stripe Fees on the original Booking are non-refundable. If you as a Host cancel a booking, a User is always entitled to a full refund. A Host should not cancel on a User without a valid reason.

What's expected of DropDesk hosts?

Hosts maintain consistent availability (a regular schedule customers can rely on), accurate listings (current photos, clear descriptions, transparent inclusions), responsive communication across app, email, and SMS, and quality matching the listing — clean and well-maintained for spaces, on-time and professional for services and activities. Failure to meet these standards may result in account suspension.
