Whether you’re a digital nomad looking for a new destination or you live in Houston and are considering becoming a remote worker, you have plenty of coworking spaces to choose from for this new stage in your career.  Here are the top 25 spaces we found:

1725 Hughes Landing Boulevard

Our first coworking spot is a part of WeWork, a global project that includes 787 office spaces (open and coming soon) spread throughout 124 cities. If you like an open space with plenty of natural light and greenery everywhere, you’ll definitely be a fan of this spot. It is located right by Northshore Park, which means you’ll be a short walk away from beautiful lake views that are sure to refill you with inspiration and motivation whenever you need to take a break. If you like to take time out to exercise, you’ll enjoy the running path and the fitness center that are a short walk away from the coworking space. Like the previous space, this is also a WeWork coworking spot.  The vibe is quite similar, but the location is different. This one is close to Tranquility Park:  it’s a nine-minute walk away, with plenty of restaurants along the way, where you can buy lunch for a mini picnic in the park. Whether you work as a solo freelancer or have a team of 100 people, you’ll find the amenities needed in this coworking space. Avalon Suites

There are two Avalon Suite locations.  The ambiance in these spots is a bit more serious than the previous two.  Unlike many spaces on this list, they don’t include an open coworking area.  As such, these spaces are recommended for small teams, from 1-10 people. The San Felipe Street location is close to the Galleria, the Memorial, and the Uptown shopping centers, perfect to clear your mind during your breaks. The Westheimer Road one is near the City Center, where you’ll find a myriad of things you may be looking for.

4. FIRMSPACE

The TX/TR coworking space is a very particular one, as it meant for artists and inventors to get their hands dirty and actually build things.  Hence, the list of amenities is different from all the other spaces we included on this list. They have a free open house every first and third Friday of the month at 7 – 8 PM, so if this is the type of space you need for your job, be sure to check their lab at those times. They also have an educational aspect to it, with programs such as the Mark to Inventor and the Educator Roundtable.
