Our first coworking spot is a part of WeWork, a global project that includes 787 office spaces (open and coming soon) spread throughout 124 cities. If you like an open space with plenty of natural light and greenery everywhere, you’ll definitely be a fan of this spot. It is located right by Northshore Park, which means you’ll be a short walk away from beautiful lake views that are sure to refill you with inspiration and motivation whenever you need to take a break. If you like to take time out to exercise, you’ll enjoy the running path and the fitness center that are a short walk away from the coworking space. Location: 609 Main Street

Like the previous space, this is also a WeWork coworking spot.  The vibe is quite similar, but the location is different. This one is close to Tranquility Park:  it’s a nine-minute walk away, with plenty of restaurants along the way, where you can buy lunch for a mini picnic in the park. Whether you work as a solo freelancer or have a team of 100 people, you’ll find the amenities needed in this coworking space. Avalon Suites


5850 San Felipe Street

There are two Avalon Suite locations.  The ambiance in these spots is a bit more serious than the previous two.  Unlike many spaces on this list, they don’t include an open coworking area.  As such, these spaces are recommended for small teams, from 1-10 people. The San Felipe Street location is close to the Galleria, the Memorial, and the Uptown shopping centers, perfect to clear your mind during your breaks. The Westheimer Road one is near the City Center, where you’ll find a myriad of things you may be looking for.

Washington Office Co. (WoCo)

Location:  1923 Washington Avenue

Hours:   Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM

Price: Shared desk memberships at WoCo start at $195/mo and private offices start at $895/mo.

Washington Office Co. The Novel Coworking on Main is located in the Scanlan Building and it has space for teams up to 100 members.  The Rusk Street location is right in the center of Houston’s Central Business Center, with the metro, and several restaurants and shops only a short walk away.One thing that sets this coworking space apart from others is their referral program.  If you make a referral and they book a 12-month private office, you get $400.
