    About The Business

    Open Gov Hub is a nonprofit coworking community and event space in downtown Washington, DC. Founded in 2011, we are home to close to 100 member organizations working on open government, transparency, accountability and civic engagement around the world. Our mission is to open up governments and empower citizens by offering collaborative programs and shared resources, including a themed, world-class coworking space. Our 20,000 sq. ft. space in the heart of downtown DC offers 178 desks, 35 collaboration spaces (including meeting rooms equipped with AV and whiteboards), height-adjustable desks, a Media Lab, a Wellness Room, and two outdoor spaces. We also host near-daily events, from networking to educational and professional development sessions, that help members build skills, connect, learn and work together to increase their shared social impact. Open Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Closed on all US federal holidays. *Available for events after hours and weekends.
